Professional Experience:

Michael I. Wayne is a partner at the firm, where he is a member of the Commercial Litigation Department. His practice concentrates in the areas of commercial, construction and business litigation.

In construction-related litigation matters, Mr. Wayne has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals in connection with private and public and commercial and residential real estate developments. These developments have included commercial and industrial complexes, federal and state government projects, theaters, hospitals, and retail facilities.

In commercial litigation matters, Mr. Wayne regularly represents manufacturers and distributors in a variety of disputes including complex and class action litigation. He has co-authored manuals relating to statutory rights on California public and private construction projects Mr. Wayne frequently lectures on various topics related to construction and commercial litigation.
