Professional Experience:

Philip C. Zvonicek is a partner at the firm where he practices commercial, construction and business litigation. Mr. Zvonicek represents developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and material and equipment suppliers in construction disputes. He also represents and consults developers in construction defect claims. Mr. Zvonicek handles business disputes on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, including enforcement and defense of contractual, mechanics' liens, stop notices, and payment and bond issues. He represents clients at the trial level and has experience in all forms of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Zvonicek is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California and is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Prior to joining Gibbs, Giden, Locher, Turner & Senet LLP, Mr. Zvonicek 's practice focused on the representation and defense of Fortune 100 companies including the largest Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in the nation in general liability matters. Mr. Zvonicek also has prior experience consulting both domestic and foreign entities in international trade matters during his employment with the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Zvonicek is fluent in the Czech language and is a licensed pilot.
