Client Service & Education

From the inception of our practice, the attorneys of Gibbs Giden Locher Turner Senet & Wittbrodt LLP (“GGLTSW”) have shared the philosophy of keeping the client’s interest paramount in every matter we handle.

At each juncture, we strive to define the goals of our representation, develop a realistic budget for the performance of our work, and regularly communicate with our clients to develop the most effective and economical strategies. Our attorneys can tailor each client service plan to include a customized legal education program to keep their staff and management up to date on legal issues affecting their operations. As leaders in the construction industry, the attorneys of our firm frequently participate in speaking engagements attended by representatives of governmental bodies, private owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and construction industry associations, including the Building Industry Association, Building Industry Credit Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, Associated General Contractors, American Institute of Architects, Construction Financial Management Association, National Association of Credit Managers, Construction Specifications Institute, and the Coalition for Adequate School Housing. If you are interested in attending one of these engagements, you will find a link below to upcoming events where a GGLTSW attorney is speaking.

GGLTSW hosts an annual Construction and Employment Law Review and Preview Seminar at the beginning of each calendar year. We review the past twelve months of legislation and case laws affecting the construction industry and preview the legal trends we see in our daily practice. In addition, our attorneys regularly provide in-house seminars to our clients’ management and staff on topics such as construction contracts, project administration and documentation, insurance and risk management. We routinely advise employers on issues arising under the California Labor Code and the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as, employers’ responsibilities regarding prevailing wages under both the California statues and the Federal Davis Bacon Act. Our seminars are tailored to meet the specific concerns and needs of our clients.

Our attorneys are also well-known authors in the legal and business communities. The firm provides legal updates to our clients through our newsletter entitled, eInsight. Below are links to our most recent events and publications.
