GGLTSW hosts an annual Construction and Employment Law Review and Preview Seminar at the beginning of each calendar year. We review the past twelve months of legislation and case laws affecting the construction industry and preview the legal trends we see in our daily practice. In addition, our attorneys regularly provide in-house seminars to our clients’ management and staff on topics such as construction contracts, project administration and documentation, insurance and risk management. We routinely advise employers on issues arising under the California Labor Code and the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as, employers’ responsibilities regarding prevailing wages under both the California statues and the Federal Davis Bacon Act. Our seminars are tailored to meet the specific concerns and needs of our clients.
